Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join us as a Bartender/Taptender at our location in Bradford, OH.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing an unforgettable tasting experience to our patrons.
If you have a love for craft beverages, excellent interpersonal skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you! We are looking to hire and get additional staff trained in time for our busy spring/summer season.
Responsibilities:
Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of our craft hard ciders and wines and be able to describe flavor profiles effectively to patrons.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by guiding patrons through our hard cider and wine selections, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Tasting Room Operations:
Operate our point of sale system, manage the cash drawer, pour and serve drinks with precision, maintain cleanliness in the tasting room, and uphold quality standards.
Education and Engagement:
Share your enthusiasm for craft beverages through engaging conversations and experiences for visitors.
Sales:
Upsell merchandise, growler fills/cans/bottles while actively promoting our cider club, special releases, and events.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
Requirements:
Availability to work most Fridays between 4PM-10PM and/or Saturdays between 11AM-9PM.
Occasionally, there may be additional days or hours available to help support special events or production needs.
Passion for craft beverages and a desire to share that passion with others.
Previous bartending, brewery, winery/cidery experience preferred, but customer service, retail, and food service industry workers are encouraged to apply! Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse groups of people.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
